RACES CANCELED – Mother Nature Wins Again
Unfortunately, Mother Nature has the upper hand tonight. Due to an extremely wet track, Mike’s Place Night at Gondik Law Speedway is canceled.
After days of steady rain, the track has become saturated to the point where our screwdriver test (with a 6” screwdriver) goes straight to the handle. For the safety of our drivers, their equipment, and to uphold our commitment to avoiding an excessively rutted track, we’ve made the difficult decision to call off tonight’s racing.
BUT, don’t forget, we’ve got a huge weekend ahead with the 9th Annual Great Lakes Border Battle happening Friday, July 4th and Saturday, July 5th! Mark your calendars for two nights of thrilling racing action!
And while you’re looking for something to do tonight, make sure to swing by our awesome sponsor Mike’s Place at 1807 N 11th Street in Superior. Grab some drinks, and support those who support local racing!
