Thursday Night Portion of the Northern Nationals Rained Out – Action Resumes Friday!
Superior, WI – Mother Nature has claimed the opening night of the Northern Nationals at Gondik Law Speedway, forcing the cancellation of Thursday night’s program due to rain.
The good news? The skies look clear for Friday and Saturday, and the forecast calls for perfect racing weather the rest of the weekend. Fans can expect an incredible car count with strong pre-entries already rolling in from across the region.
“While we’re disappointed we can’t kick off the Northern Nationals tonight, our weather person is saying its inevitable it will rain all evening and we just don't want drivers wasting fuel and time,” said Gondik Law Speedway promoter Joe Stariha. “Friday and Saturday are shaping up to be two of the biggest nights of racing we’ve ever hosted.”
Fans are encouraged to join us tomorrow night and Saturday for two huge nights of racing, big car counts, and exciting action on the track.
